Marco Carnevale received the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Systems Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, in 2010. He is currently Associate Professor with the Department of Industrial and Information Engineering, University of Pavia, Pavia, Italy, where he is also a member of RAMSLAB (Research on Advanced Mechanical Systems). His research interests include railway dynamics, condition monitoring systems, multibody modeling, and the development of robotic systems for industrial applications. He has contributed to European research projects, including In2Rail under the Horizon 2020 program, and has extensive experience in diagnostics and monitoring systems for railway infrastructure and vehicles. He has authored numerous publications in international journals and conferences.
